It’s been 11 days without sugar or wheat products and not much has really happened with my body. I do feel better mentally, a little calmer, a bit more tired, so I was obviously sourcing a lot of my energy from sugar and dodgy foods. I really haven’t changed much on the scales which is a bit of a disappointment, but I think that will probably take a little longer to start happening. I’ve just had a friend staying for 4 days so that was a test of my willpower. I stuck to vodka lime and sodas when we were drinking, and had some delicious salads while we were out and about.
